Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift will be honored with the Elizabeth Taylor Fragrance Celebrity Award from the Fragrance Foundation. The two stars revitalized the celebrity fragrance business, up 57 percent in sales in 2011, reports CBSnews.com

Taylor Swift’s Wonderstruck has also received a nod for Best Packaging.

Justin Bieber’s women’s perfume SOMEDAY is one of the top sellers in department and specialty stores, and White Diamonds, the scent launched 20 years ago by the late Elizabeth Taylor, tops in big box stores.

Bieber even briefly bumped perennial favorite fragrances CHANEL NO.5 and COCO MADEMOISELLE out of the top sales spots last year. But Bieber’s SOMEDAY has some celebrity competition. One of the big new launches this spring is Madonna’s TRUTH OR DARE, and Rihanna’s REB’L FLEUR has been a strong performer.

The Elizabeth Taylor Fragrance Celebrity Award prize-giving event will be held in New York on May 21, 2012 and will be hosted by “Glee” star Jane Lynch.

Justin Bieber confirms on Twitter that he plans to release “Turn to You” a song he wrote for his mom this week to help raise money for single moms. The track “Turn to You” will be released on Mother’s Day.

“Think im gonna release #TurnToYOU for my mom this friday for mother’s day weekend. the proceeds will go to help other single moms. Thanks.”

Talking about what he wrote in the song, Justin previously spilled to MTV:

“It’s about the struggles, I say in the song. She had me at like the age I am now. It’s about just the struggles she went through and how brave she was, and I think the world needed to know that.”

“Believe” out on June 19 in the US & June 18 in the UK.

Justin Bieber managed to fit graduating high school into his busy schedule! In a recent interview, he revealed that he has passed his test and that it was hard to balance both work AND school at the same time!

Justin told Britain’s The Daily Telegraph.:

“I just finished. I passed my test – I’m free!

“It was hard doing school and work every day. [Graduating] was something my mom really wanted me to do, so I had to do it for her. I mean, this kind of lifestyle has given me a different perspective on life.

“I’ve been able to travel the world. At school, usually you have to do a lot of writing and reading. I’m not really into that stuff. I like to be out there.”
