This is proof of just how influential teen sensation Justin Bieber can be. With just a few tweets encouraging people to become organ donors, he has managed to help spike up the amount of online registration in Ontario, Canada over four times a day!

“Hey @justinbieber! I BELIEB you should use that Canadian voice of yours and help save lives like mine,” 20-year-old Helene Campbell, who is in need of her own lung transplant, first twetted to the young singer.

Two days later, Justin responded by retweeting Helene’s message and then followed it up with a series of tweets spreading the word on organ donation. “I got the word….you have amazing strength. i got u. #BeAnOrganDonor,” Justin wrote to his fans.

Soon, donation registrations at the Ontario-based Trillium Gift Of Life Network went up more than 1,200 people thanks to the effort, MTV News reported.

“On an average day we would expect about 50 new online registrations,” President and CEO Ronnie Gavsie said in a statement. “Since Helene’s campaign began last Thursday, the average has been closer to 200 per day!”
