Last Wednesday night, about 50 girls huddled in front of Madison Square Garden, warmed only by North Face jackets and their burning love for Justin Bieber. IndustryGamers reports that both VP of marketing Scott Steinberg and senior VP of publisher relations Rob Dyer have quit the publisher. Steinberg was rumoured to have been escorted out of the building by security, though SCEA has since confirmed that he resigned from his role. The creative figurehead behind Ico and Shadow of the Colossus has quit Sony Japan with his third project unfinished, a new report suggests. Eurogamer sources claim that Fumito Ueda has departed as Team Ico creative director at Sony’s Tokyo development hub. It is speculated that the 41-year-old will finish his third major PlayStation project, The Last Guardian, in a freelance capacity.
